‘Unprecedented’ rain pounds southwest Japan, leaves 2 dead

A hospital is isolated because of flood. More than 180 people are in that hospital.

Within 24 hours, close to 4cm rain fell. That was double amount of the average precipitation for this month.

Flooded steel factory leaked some kind of oil or chemical (red arrow).

More than 20 rivers flooded in that area.
